Privacy Policy

This policy describes ExactYou’s native iOS development workflow and these public product pages. The optional authenticated web Studio has separate storage and is not a native cloud-sync service.

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Applies to the development/beta scope described below.

Information you choose to keep

The native app stores reference photographs, capture/scan files, profile notes, generated photographs, generation metadata, preferences and saved/recent directions. You decide which references and optional scene to use in a creation request.

Storage and credentials

Capture files and generated images use app-private storage with iOS complete file protection. Supported provider credentials use separate when-unlocked, device-only Keychain items. Removing a connection does not delete your photographs. App Documents may be included in operating-system backups; a Keychain item can outlive an app uninstall.

When information leaves your device

After you approve and start creation, the app sends selected reference JPEGs, the prompt, likeness notes and an optional scene directly to OpenAI or Cloudflare using your own credentials. Identity references are prepared on-device; originals remain local. Raw depth/mesh files are not native request inputs. Changes to references, notes, scene or provider clear approval.

Provider processing

The chosen provider processes your request under its applicable API terms and data controls. Review those controls before sending photographs. ExactYou does not control the provider’s account, billing or retention. Canceling locally may stop waiting after the provider has begun processing. There is no silent automatic provider fallback.

Camera, photographs and sharing

Camera or selected-photo access depends on device permissions and the capture path you open. Reference-quality processing occurs on-device. Export/share actions create independent copies governed by the receiving app or destination; deleting a local reference cannot recall those copies.

Retention and deletion

Local photographs and capture history remain until removed through available app controls or app-storage deletion. Deleting references does not automatically delete generated outputs; it can make historical reference comparison unavailable. Remove provider connections separately in Settings and review operating-system backups and exported copies.

Optional private web Studio

The separate web implementation uses trusted hosting identity, owner-scoped records and private asset endpoints. Approved web generation can use reference photographs and a rendered shape guide, but not raw depth/mesh files. Native and web credentials and data are separate.

People in photographs

Use only photographs you are entitled to provide. Do not upload another person’s likeness without appropriate permission, including guardian permission where applicable. The development preview is not a child-directed service or an identity-verification service.

These public pages and support email

These static product pages add no advertising, analytics scripts, account sign-in, tracking cookies or embedded third-party fonts. The website host still receives ordinary connection/request information needed to serve and protect the site. If you email support, your address, message and any attachments are processed by the mailbox/email services to respond and handle the request; provide only what is necessary.

Your choices and requests

Use available app controls, device permissions and the separate data-deletion page for product-specific choices. You may contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights available to you. Identity and authority must be verified before records are disclosed or changed. No response deadline or outcome is guaranteed by sending an email.

Security and policy changes

No device, hosting service or software system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and credentials. Material changes to data practices require an updated policy and appropriate notice before the changed behavior is distributed.
